  33. JS-Exit is a small utility that displays useful information
  34. such as free resources and a quick way to exit windows.
  35.

  37. System Requirements:
  38.  
  39. JS-Exit is completely self-contained and requires Windows 3.1.
  40. JS-Exit uses very little memory and uses almost no system resources.

  43. Installation:
  44.  
  45. Installation is very easy.
  46. Create a new directory (such as C:\JS-EXIT).
  47. Unzip the archive into this directory.
  48. Create a new program manager item for JS-Exit -
  49. the command line should read "C:\JS-EXIT\JS-EXIT.EXE".
  50. Double-click the new icon to start JS-EXIT.
  51. If everything is installed properly,
  52. you should now JS-Exit on the bottom of your screen.

  55. I prefer to add the program item to the StartUp group in Windows 3.1. 
  56. This causes JS-Exit to start every time I start Windows.
  57. Another way to make this happen is to modify the "load=" line in your 
  58. WIN.INI file (found in your \WINDOWS directory)
  59. so that it reads "load=js-exit.exe".
  60. (NOTE:  Make a backup copy of WIN.INI before changing it.)

  63. Instructions:

  65. Once JS-Exit is running, information will appear in the caption
  66. of the JS-Exit window.
  67. To Quick exit windows click on the system menu on the JS-Exit icon
  68. at this time you can pick Quick exit windows.

  72. Registration

  74.   I will keep improving the program if I know enough people are
  75.   finding it useful.

  77.   My registration policy is very flexible. The nominal fee are listed
  78.   in the file REGISTER.TXT. If you don't feel you will get your money
  79.   worth of use out of JS-Exit, send whatever it is worth to you.

  81.   If you are impoverished and can't afford to pay anything,
  82.   enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope
  83.   and I will send you a registration.

  85.   This is not freeware or public domain. Shareware is simply a means
  86.   of marketing commercial software. You are required to register if
  87.   you intend to use this program after a reasonable trial period.

  89.   When registering, please tell me the version number you have 
  90.   and where you obtained your copy of JS-Exit.

  95.   can be used simultaneously at your site. Site fees for commercial
  96.   users can be negotiated.

  100.   Some Free Demo's.  if you decide to use it after a trial period. I will

  115.     Hitting Control-C (or Control-Break) will terminate the program
  116.     immediately.

  122.     as long as no more than $5 is charged. It must be made clear to
  123.     the buyer that this is only a handling charge and not a
  124.     registration fee. You must include all files in their original
